ELECTRIC COVERS - Don't forget after your pool closing, refill the pool up to the normal, operational water level prior to closing the cover. Doing so will prevent damage to your electric cover and its tracks from additional weight of snow and ice on the cover.
SAFETY/MESH/TARP COVERS - Mark your calendars to remind yourself to add 1 gallon of liquid chlorine to your pool throughout the winter season. Remember this and you are less likely to face a mess in the spring when you are reopening your pool.
ABOVE GROUND POOLS - Remember to save your plastic bottles! You can use them in your pool for expansion as ice forms. Remove the labels and fill your empty chlorine bottles (about 4-6 bottles) a little less than half full of water. Tie them together and let them float in your pool. Ice forms around them and takes on the ice expansion rather than putting pressure on your pool walls/liner.
CHLORINE POOLS - Chlorine must be removed from all chlorinators prior to closing.
STABILIZER LEVELS - Those of you who have had a high CYA (stabilizer) throughout the summer, be sure to drain additional water this fall. Also remember to have your levels checked in the spring at opening.

Prior to your closing date, don't forget to make sure your pH and Alkalinity are balanced. This will help protect against liner damage over the winter!
Please have the service area clear of debris and foilage prior to our service technicians arriving. If the equipment/area is not accessible, you will be notified to reschedule a new date of service.
NSI is not responsible for any water pillows or water tubes deflating or deteriorating after the pool has been closed.
A list of closing packages and prices are provided for your review and selection. Please review the form carefully as options have changed. Completely fill out your 2022 Closing Contract and submit it as soon as possible to ensure we can schedule your closing as close to the week you had requested.
We do ask that any changes be made prior to your closing to allow us to schedule appropriately. If you have any questions regarding the closing packages or contract, please do not hesitate to call. It is our policy that the customer completes and submits the contract with payment information in order for us to schedule your closing.
